Lower Trewince Farm

At the head of Porth Valley, set in the Cornish countryside, Lower Trewince Farm self catering holiday cottages are an ideal base for a family holiday in North Cornwall. A long private drive following the course of the stream up the valley, provides secure secluded accommodation. Bullpen & Stable cottage, the 400 year old Farmhouse and bunk barn “The Croft” are available all year round. Established over the past 9 years the present owners have upgraded and improved the standard of accommodation and grounds, but still keeping the traditional cottage character.

Saturday changeover      Bullpen Cottage, ( LHS on photo ) has accommodation for four consisting of one double bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. Access to the cottage is via the court yard with three steps to the entrance. The entrance to the cottage opens out into a large kitchen/dining area (approx 22ft x 14ft) to the RHS, with the stairs to the left leading to the upper floor bedrooms and bathroom. Beyond the stairs on the left is a good sized lounge area with television, DVD and stereo plus beamed ceiling and patio doors opening onto the south facing courtyard.       Please note Saturday changeover.

Stable.

Friday changeover       Stable cottage ( RHS of photo ). The accommodation consist of a lounge diner/kitchen on ground floor and two double bedrooms and bathroom on 1st floor. Both Bullpen and Stable cottage face the courtyard where you can sunbathe, chillout or BBQ. On the south side of the courtyard through a stepped archway leads to the main lawn area, where you can relax in the tranquil suroundings and sounds of Porth stream as it bubbles its way down to Porth beach.

Porth

Porth (Port in Cornish) is 2 miles north of Newquay on the A3276 coast road to Watergate Bay, Padstow and Newquay Airport. Built up around a sandy beached cove, perfect for families and an ideal location from which to explore Cornwall or enjoy the nearby magnificent North Atlantic coast. North Cornwall’s main attractions are within easy reach as is the A30, giving good access to some of the best parts of Cornwall. Alternatively for walkers the South West Coastal path can be reached quickly by car. North along the coast road is Watergate bay, internationally famous for its surfing beaches, spectacular coastline and Jamie Oliver’s famous "Fifteen" Restaurant. Newquay is 3 miles to the south with its attractions, restaurants and surfing beaches.
